The Friends of The Brookfield Library are now accepting donations of gently-used books, DVDs, audiobooks on CD (not tape), and music CDs for adults, teens, and kids. Please leave your donated items in the bin to the right of the library’s doors.
Would you like to volunteer to sort and box books or empty the bin? If you would, please contact Georgette May at email@example.com. Even an hour or two a week would help! Sorting can be done any time the library is open.
If you’d like a receipt for tax purposes for the items you donate, please ask at the Checkout Desk. If you have VHS tapes, textbooks, or outdated travel, medical, or computer books, please find another place to donate or recycle them. If your books are musty, moldy, written in, or badly damaged, please dispose of them properly. We shouldn’t have to say this, but please don’t leave books outside if the bin is full.
The book sale dates will be announced by mid-March.
