Film showing of The Salesman (Forushande), from Iran, written and directed by Asghar Farhadi and starring Taraneh Alidoosti, Shahab Hosseini, and Babak Karimi. While both participating in a production of Death of a Salesman, a teacher’s wife is assaulted in her new home, which leaves him determined to find the perpetrator over his wife’s traumatized objections.

This film showing of Lion is rescheduled from April 1st, because the studio pushed forward the release date.

Film showing of Lion, directed by Garth Davis and starring Dev Patel, Rooney Mara, and Nicole Kidman. At only five years old, Saroo Brierley got lost on a train in India. Unable to read or write or recall the name of his hometown or even his own last name, he survived alone for weeks on the rough streets of Calcutta before ultimately being transferred to an agency and adopted by a couple in Australia.

Nominated for 6 Oscars: Best Picture; Supporting Actor–Dev Patel; Supporting Actress–Nicole Kidman; Adapted Screenplay (Luke Davies); Cinematography (Greig Fraser); and Original Score (Dustin O’Halloran and Volker Bertelmann).
