Job Description:
Picks up trash and recyclables from all areas of the Library. Dispose of trash in dumpster. Vacuums all carpets, and shampoos carpets as needed. Dusts all surfaces as needed. Cleans counter tops and appliances, tables and desks in all offices and meeting rooms and two kitchens. Cleans office and meeting room chairs. Maintains floors as required. Dust and wet mops all Library floors. Cleans and maintains rest rooms. Replenishes paper and soap products as needed. Cleans windows as needed. Moving furniture as needed. Assists with maintaining the inventory of cleaning supplies. Notifies supervisor when stock supplies are low. Performs other related duties as required. Skills Required:
Knowledge of various cleaning supplies and their uses. Ability to operate various cleaning and polishing equipment. General knowledge of maintenance skills a plus.

Education Required:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
