Location: Lawn at Miss Mary Way

Every June, knitters gather in public spaces to celebrate World Wide Knit in Public Day, the world’s largest annual knitting event.

Join us outside of the library where there will be a limited supply of yarn and knitting needles for you to borrow; or bring your own yarn and needles! We will have chairs available, but please feel free to bring one that is more comfy!

Dawn Zillich, The Stitching Coach, will be at the library with advice, tips and other knitting support. Pattern books will be available for loan from The Brookfield Library, or add your stitches to a community knit project that will be donated after the event. Whether you have knitted for ages or a beginner who wants to learn, come celebrate this time honored tradition with us! Unvaccinated people must wear a mask.

Rain date June 19

Registration is not open for this event.
