Join Phil Robbins of Wild Birds Unlimited in Brookfield for a look into the lives of one of the largest animals in the state, the black bear. We’ll explore the biology and life history of these secretive animals as well as share some tips and tricks to help reduce the likelihood of bear visits in your own yard. We’ll also discuss feeders and food options that birds often like and bears often don’t.

Prior to helping open the Brookfield WBU, Phil has worked as an environmental educator for over 20 years and has a degree in Environmental Forest Biology from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
