details
You will need to log
in to your account for the first time using your library
card barcode number and password.Your
password will be the last four digits of your phone number. You’ll
be prompted to change it the first time you log in. Your new password
must contain 7 characters, including one (1) letter and one (1) number.
If you lose or forget your password, please speak with someone at the
Checkout Desk to have it reset.
Once logged in, you will be able to change the username, password, and email address associated with your barcode.
Renewals
To renew items, once logged into your account,
go to the “Items Checked Out” section of your account, check off the
boxes next to the items you wish to renew, and click on “Renew Selected
Items.” If you wish to select all of your checked out items, you can
click on the word “All” in the Select column.
Requests
You can place holds on materials from the online
catalog. Search
for the item you want, then click 'Request Item.'
Once you’ve placed a hold, the item will appear in your account under “Items
on Hold.”
You may also place requests on items we don't own by searching all libraries in our system.
If you can't find an item in either of the above catalogs, request it from the statewide library system.

Account Preferences
In Account Preferences,
you can tell the library how you’d like to be notified when an item you
have a hold on is available. This is also where you can specify your
preferred font size and the number of results you see per page in the
catalog.
You can also save your default
search location. You can search just The Brookfield Library or the
entire system.
