Take part in our annual craft swap. This is an opportunity for artists and crafters of all types to get together and trade craft supplies. Do you have years of accumulated items that you haven't played with in ages, or did you burn out on those holiday projects and want to try something new? Bring those materials you no longer need that are in good, useable condition to trade with other crafters. We'll provide tables -- you bring the supplies.
If you don't have anything to swap, but you'd like a chance to pick up supplies for a craft at no charge, we ask that you plan to make a $5 donation to the Brookfield Food Pantry. Of course, if you'd like to donate more, we won't refuse.
There won't be limits on what people can take, but we hope everyone will treat the supplies with respect, and remember this is a community event. And if you have a friend or two who share your craft supply addiction, bring them along to the craft swap.
If you'd like to drop off your supplies on Thursday, May 1 (5:00 - 7:30 p.m.) or Friday, May 2 (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), please do.
Questions? Call Katherine Van Leeuwen at 203-775-6241. If you'd like to register that you will be participating, we would be happy to have an idea of how many are planning to take part.
